About Us

Hey there! My name is Marlee and these are my co-founders Luke and Rico. I started the Dog Friendly Flagstaff page in 2018 to document our adventures finding dog friendly places and events around the area. My husband and I hardly go anywhere without the dogs, so finding spots we feel welcome with them is a must. I’m a graphic designer, recently turned stay-at-home mom (2 fur babies + 1 human baby) and I’ve had such a blast creating the online directory. I also design and create all of the merchandise in the shop. The website gets updated as we visit new spots and receive tips from other locals. My goal is for Dog Friendly Flagstaff to be a community where dog owners can connect and local businesses and organizations can share their services.

I moved to Flagstaff in 2009 to study Visual Communication at NAU and hoped this would be my “forever home” – I couldn’t be more grateful to be exploring the town I love with my dogs by my side! Flagstaff is full of dog people and businesses that go the extra mile for dog owners like us.
