Dog-Friendly Fall Activities in Flagstaff

There is nothing better than Fall in Flagstaff! Whether you want to visit a pumpkin patch or frolic through the fall colors, you’ll find plenty of dog-friendly fall activities here. Depending on the weather, you can catch the leaves in Flagstaff changing from late September to late October, with peak season in early-mid October. Dog-Friendly Fall Activities

1. Viola’s Flower Garden Pumpkin Patch

Viola’s Flower Garden transforms into a dog-friendly Pumpkin Patch for the month of October! They have activities for the entire family including carnival games and a straw maze. Pick the perfect pumpkin to take home or decorate at their Pumpkin Decorating Station. Viola’s is one of the best places for fall photo ops with both the dogs and family. Admission is $4, kids under 3 are free.

2. Warner’s Nursery

Warner’s Nursery is a great dog-friendly spot to celebrate fall in Flagstaff! They have a pumpkin patch, hay maze, and tons of fun backdrops for fall photos. This is another family-friendly spot, with a playground for the kids, and plenty of space for the dogs to explore. You can even grab a pumpkin spice latte at Dottie’s Garden Coffee Shoppe inside!

3. The Arboretum

You’ll find pumpkins and fall photo ops at The Arb! The Arboretum is a beautiful place to spend the day with the dogs while enjoying both tours and activities. They also have regular events happening through fall. Soak in the gorgeous views of gardens and breathtaking sights of fall colors. Admission is $12 for adults, $6 for children 5-17, $3 for dogs, children under 5 are free. (Closed on Monday & Tuesday)

4. Northern Arizona University

Take your dogs on a leashed walk around Northern Arizona University’s campus! You’ll find some of the best fall colors in town here without having to hike. Your pup will undoubtedly make the day of college students! Please be aware of NAU’s pet policy; dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and are allowed outside only.
